I’ve been using the AirConsole from Get-Console.com for a couple of years now. It is a wonderful product that removes the hazel of installing serial drivers on my MacBook. I just connect to my AirConsole and telnet to the serial TCP port. Voila!
After using it for 5-6 hours yesterday to configure a Nexus and VSS setup, I plugged it into my MacBook this morning to recharge. After an hour my hand touched the AirConsole and it was burning hot. Literally burning hot.
The plastic had started to melt, both cable and AirConsole. I really loved this product, but I’m glad that I didn’t leave it in the MacBook over night.
